common in southern Scotland.
Montgomeryshire Status
First discovered in the north-east of the county at Middletown in 2011.

Confusion species
Many species of Phyllonorycter are extremely similar, great care should
be given when separating these species. It is often impossible to separate the adults of some species.

Lifestage data
Leaf miner. Eggs laid on underside of leaves. Larva mines between two
veins forming very distinct creases. Pupates within the mine in a
white, silk lined chamber. |
